On July 23, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the General Administration of Customs (China Customs) jointly issued a notice that put restrictions on 1,853 export products, involving plastic, furniture, textile and other labor-intensive industries. These products account for 15 percent of the country"s total products for export.
