美國的“奧巴馬笑話”

2014年11月4日的美國中期選舉中,共和黨拿下參眾兩院,奧巴馬成“跛腳鴨”總統(tǒng)。“跛腳鴨”如今已是習(xí)慣用語,很少有人還會(huì)因?yàn)樗瓉淼霓揶砗统爸S而覺得好笑。然而,開始的時(shí)候,“跛腳鴨”是個(gè)玩笑的說法,出自18世紀(jì)的倫敦證券交易所,指那些拖欠債務(wù)的經(jīng)紀(jì)。根據(jù)字面解釋。鴨子走起路來本來就一搖三擺,再加上跛腳,更是一付東倒西歪、步履維艱的可笑神態(tài)。
