一、教學(xué)課型(45分)
本節(jié)課的閱讀材料是一篇說明文,中心話題是讓學(xué)生們了解藏羚羊面臨絕境的現(xiàn)狀以及我國(guó)政府和世界自然保護(hù)組織為挽救藏羚羊所做的努力。
二、教材分析
1、教學(xué)內(nèi)容:外研社 必修5(P52—53)
2、教材處理 考慮到本班學(xué)生基本沒有去過青藏高原,筆者對(duì)教材內(nèi)容編排進(jìn)行調(diào)整,刪減和補(bǔ)充,尤其是閱讀教材前面的圖片部分移置到閱讀理解完之后,進(jìn)行并創(chuàng)設(shè)了一定情境激發(fā)學(xué)生的語言表達(dá)欲望,從而有效提高學(xué)生對(duì)文章理解。
3、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn) 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀策略和技巧;學(xué)會(huì)歸納段落大意,總結(jié)中心思想;弄清文章結(jié)構(gòu)及其寫作特點(diǎn)。
三、教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)
1、總體設(shè)計(jì)
為了激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心與求知欲,筆者首先引導(dǎo)學(xué)生看秦嶺四寶、洋縣朱鹮及伴有音樂青藏高原的藏羚羊在草原上奔跑的視頻,讓學(xué)生感覺到他們已到青藏高原的情景,進(jìn)而導(dǎo)入課文主題。閱讀活動(dòng)分為讀前、讀中和讀后三個(gè)階段,筆者設(shè)計(jì)了根據(jù)文章標(biāo)題的預(yù)測(cè)文章的內(nèi)容,讓學(xué)生們討論段落大意、文章結(jié)構(gòu),并指導(dǎo)學(xué)生用自己已有的語言知識(shí)編練小話劇到講臺(tái)前進(jìn)行表演等課堂活動(dòng),旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生預(yù)測(cè)、推理與判斷以及口語表達(dá)能力以便更好地理解文章,為課后的寫作訓(xùn)練做準(zhǔn)備。
2、教學(xué)過程
Step1 Lead-in(2 ")show the pictures about animal species on the screen.
T: Tell the students animals are our close friends, who live in harmony with mankind for thousands of years. But with the development of the human beings and the spread of their activities, the number of the lovely animals are on the decrease sharply. Then answer the following questions:
1)What do you know about the animals in the pictures?
2)What’s the English for them?
3)How much do you know about them?
4)Why are some animals becoming extinct?
5)What shall we do to save them?
通過多媒體呈現(xiàn)秦嶺四寶、洋縣朱鹮的視頻,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生意識(shí)到長(zhǎng)就野生動(dòng)物,保護(hù)自然環(huán)境的重要性,激發(fā)他們說英語的習(xí)慣,促使他們產(chǎn)生強(qiáng)烈的好奇心,進(jìn)而引入主題,為下一步的閱讀活動(dòng)做好鋪墊。
Step 2 Pre-reading(4 ")
1.Show pictures of some antelopes on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, planning the song The Tibetan Plateau.
T: Today let’s go into the beautiful and mysterious land___ Tibet Plateau to look for the rare endangered animal__ antelopes.
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】筆者特意挑選帶有音樂視頻的青藏高原之歌,尤其是藏羚羊一群一群的在草原上奔跑,仿佛學(xué)生身臨其境的在草原上刺激他們積極參與課堂活動(dòng),自然而然地倒入本課內(nèi)容。
2.Show and read the new words and useful phrases in the passage and explain them..Then do the exercise.
Step 3 pre-reading (4")
1) Look at the title, then guess what the passage is mainly about.
2) What’s the purpose of the passage?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】設(shè)置問題情境,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生利用已有的背景知識(shí)做出推測(cè),并在語篇中尋找依據(jù)或證實(shí)先前所做的推測(cè),從而獲取文章大意。

1)A large number of antelopes have been killed for their meat.
2)The business of the antelope wool is illegal but it is not easy to be stopped.
