After finishing his busy schedule atthe G20 summit, the NATO sum-mit, and the summit between theEuropean Union and the UnitedStates, U.S. President Barack Obama arrivedin Ankara on April 5 for a two-day visit toTurkey. He gave a speech to the TurkishParliament on April 6 and held a question-and-answer session with Muslim students at acultural center in Istanbul the following day.Turkey is the first Muslim country Obama hasvisited since he took office. Through this visit,he conveyed an important message that theUnited States is committed to advancing itsrelations with the Muslim world.
